With Insurance Professionals:

When you submit an insurance request and provide consent, we may share your information with licensed professionals who may help with your request. These are independent third parties. We do not control their offerings or advice. Your consent to be contacted overrides Do Not Call listings.

With Service Providers:

We may work with external vendors to support our platform. These parties may have access to data solely for service-related purposes.

To Meet Legal Obligations or Prevent Harm:

We may disclose your information to comply with laws or legal requests, prevent fraud, or protect safety.

As Part of a Business Transfer:

If Aegis Platforms is sold, merged, or reorganized, your data may be transferred.

Aggregated or Non-Identifiable Data:

To exercise any of these rights, please submit a request through legal@1800insurance.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights, which means we will not deny you goods or services, or charge you different prices, simply because you exercised these rights.

We will respond to your authenticated request within 45 days. If reasonably necessary based on the complexity and number of your requests, we may extend this response period by an additional 45 days, and we will notify you of any extension.

Right to Appeal

If we decline to take action on your request, you have the right to appeal our decision. We will provide you with instructions on how to submit your appeal when we communicate our decision.

If your appeal is ultimately denied, we may provide you with an online mechanism or method to contact your state's Attorney General to submit a complaint.

We collect personal information for the business and commercial purposes described in "How We May Use Your Information" above.

Disclosure of Personal Information: We may share your personal information with third parties as described in the "How We May Share Your Information" section above. In the preceding 12 months, we may have disclosed the following categories of personal information for business or commercial purposes: identifiers, categories of personal information described in subdivision (e) of Section 1798.80 including financial information, commercial information, biometric information, internet or other electronic network activity information, geolocation data, professional or employment-related information, education information, and inferences drawn from any of the information identified.

Sale of Personal Information: California law requires that we provide transparency about personal information we "sell," which for the purposes of the CCPA, means scenarios in which personal information is shared with third parties in exchange for valuable consideration. In the preceding 12 months, we have "sold" the following categories of personal information: identifiers, categories of personal information described in subdivision (e) of Section 1798.80 including financial information, commercial information, internet or other electronic network activity information, geolocation data, professional or employment-related information, education information, and inferences drawn from any of the information identified. California consumers above the age of 16 have the right to opt out of these sales at any time. We do not knowingly sell personal information about consumers under the age of 16. Your Consumer Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to (1) request more information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, sold and disclosed for a business purpose in the last 12 months, (2) request deletion of your personal information, (3) opt out of the sale of your personal information, if applicable, and (4) be free from discrimination for exercising your rights under the CCPA. We will verify your request by confirming at least two pieces of personal information, including contact information, you provided in submitting your form. To designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf, send an email with your request to legal@1800insurance.com.
