Typically covered
- Personal Property (Furniture, Electronics)Your belongings are covered against theft, fire, and other covered perils—even when traveling.
- Clothing and Personal ItemsAll your clothes, shoes, and accessories are covered up to your policy limit.
- Electronics and AppliancesLaptops, TVs, phones, and appliances you own (not the landlord's) are covered.
- Personal LiabilityIf someone is injured in your apartment or you accidentally damage someone else's property.
- Medical Payments to OthersCovers medical bills for guests injured in your apartment, regardless of fault.
- Additional Living ExpensesHotel and meal costs if your apartment becomes uninhabitable due to a covered loss.
- Belongings Away From HomeYour laptop stolen from your car or belongings damaged while traveling are typically covered.
- Fire and Smoke DamageYour belongings are covered if a fire damages your unit, even if it started elsewhere in the building.
- Theft and VandalismCovered whether someone breaks in or your belongings are stolen from your car.
